About JobJenny.
I'm Jenny Foss.
Do call me JobJenny, Jenny, or just whisper quietly behind my back that I could not possibly be an expert because I just look so young. (You, by the way, are my favorite already.)
Or get all official and call me Jennifer. I'm OK with that, too, especially if we're in stuffy suits at some stuffy meeting or convention of some sort.
Even more especially if you're serving super expensive wine.
For the past handful of years, I've run a nationally recognized, boutique-style recruiting agency.
Love the job, love my clients (the companies doing the hiring.) But, until I launched JobJenny.com, I struggled with the limited time I had available to give job seekers the one-on-one attention, high-fives and tough love that you need and deserve.
The kind of focus I know will help and motivate you in this enormously crappy job market.
The kind that will blast away some of that paralyzing fear and uncertainty so you can full-on concentrate on the task at hand. And that would be:
Landing or inventing the job you really, truly want. Not A job... THE job.
I hope that, as you spend time here, you'll realize clearly:
I'm here for you, brother. Or sister.
Whether you're unemployed, secretly dreaming of telling your employer to stuff it, or plotting out a future as your own boss, this blog is 100% yours.
So, c'mon in. Make yourself at home. Set your drink down without a coaster. Comment along with me. Share info with friends. Disagree with me if you must. And, above all...
Enjoy.
